About Jim Zahniser
I'm a graphic designer and illustrator from Pennsylvania. I graduated from Thiel College and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and have been working full time as an artist for over 20 years. The Icons of Music series is a culmination of my design, fine art and illustration experience. Utilizing a combination of pen and ink illustration and digital manipulation, the series showcases the skills developed over the course of my career—both contemporary and traditional. The images are also a tribute to my love of great music and the incredibly talented people that make it.
I live in the beautiful city of Pittsburgh with my Seattle-born wife, Carrie, and our two cats, Bear and Bailey.
